Tairu Adebayo & Co is presently structured on a sole proprietorship basis with Mr. Tairu Adebayo as the Principal Partner and complemented by five associates. There is however a future plan to re-structure the firm on a partnership basis.

TAIRU ADEBAYO ESQ.

Tairu Adebayo attended the Bayero University Kano, Kano State where he obtained an LL.B Hons. in 1995 (with a second class upper grade) and LL.M from the University of Jos, Nigeria. Tairu was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1996 and is a member of Nigerian Bar Association as well as the International Bar association. Tairu is also a member of Institute of Chartered Trustees of Nigeria. He is also a member of Business Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria (BRIPAN). Tairu has attended so many trainings/Seminars/Conferences both within and outside Nigeria, in the areas of Project Financing for Lawyers, Telecom, Datacom and the Law, Real Estate, Commercial Arbitration and others.

DR. ABDULHALEEM AMIN ESQ.

Abdulhaleem attended the University of Ilorin Kwara State where he obtained an LL.B (Hons.) Degree in 2008 (with a Second Class Upper grade). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009, having passed the prescribed qualifying examinations. He obtained his Masters Degree in law from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in the year 2014. Abdulhaleem also completed his Ph.D specializing in lands law at the same Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Practice Areas: Corporate and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Construction and Real Estate Law, Land Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property and Maritime Law.

TAIWO QASIM ADERIBIGBE ESQ.

Taiwo attended the University of Ilorin, Kwara State where he obtained an LL.B (Hons.) in 2014 (with a Second Class Upper Division), Taiwo was admitted into the Nigerian Law School (Kano Campus) 2014 where he also excelled with a (Second Class Upper Division) Honours in 2015. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015 and is a member of Nigerian Bar Association. Taiwo was awarded a postgraduate scholarship by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to study Masters of Laws (LLM) in Cyber Law at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and has since completed both his course works and thesis for the award of LL.M Degree, but however awaiting the senate approval.

Taiwo has received many awards and certificates for his outstanding performances in academic and advocacy including Senator Rukayat Gbemisola Saraki Law School Scholarship award (2014).

Practice Areas: His Areas of practice cuts across Information and Communication Technology Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate and Commercial law, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Maritime Law and Sports Law.

KINDRED BEN-WALSON

Kindred is a dedicated legal and business professional with a strong academic background. She earn her LL.B from Igbinedion University and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing her legal training at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. Driven by a passion for global commerce and strategic management, she pushed further and obtained MBA (INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AS HER SPECAILIZATION) from Nile University, Abuja.

ABDULFATAI AIYELABEGAN ESQ.

Abdulfatai is a graduate of University of Ilorin where he obtained his degree in Laws. He then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School (Abuja) to advance his legal training and got called to the Nigerian Bar in 2022. Abdulfatai has since completed his course works and thesis for the award of LL.M Degree, specializing in Energy and Natural Resources at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State.

Practice Areas: Civil and Criminal litigation, Energy and Natural Resources law, Corporate and Commercial law.

OLUWATOSIN JOY ASOWO

Tosin is a legal professional who earned her LL.B from Afe Babalola University where she finished with a Second Class Upper Honours. She has advanced her legal training at the Nigerian Law school, Yenagoa and successfully complected the bar examinations, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2024.

Practice Areas: Corporate and Commercial law, Business advisory, Anti-money Laundering and Banking and Finance Law.

  • Our Principal Partner acted as a solicitor to the presidential Committee on the investigation of illegal siphoning of Foreign Exchange outside Nigeria and represented the committee in the resultant litigation.
  • Our Principal Partner participated in the legal audit of 66 (sixty-six) cases involving National Bank of Nigeria Limited (with a view to resolving them in finality) upon resumption of operations after closure for several years.
  • Carried out Solicitors’ work and provided legal representation on behalf of First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB), Oceanic Bank International Plc, (now Ecobank Plc) Sterling Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc and other private companies.
  • Providing legal representation to Bureau of Public Enterprises in Sampson Okubio-v-Bureau of Public Enterprises at the Federal High Court, Asaba.
  • Providing legal representation to National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), the regulatory body for all insurance operators in Nigeria.
  • Providing legal representation to Nigerian Communication commission (NCC), the regulatory body for all telephone and data operators in Nigeria.
  • Providing legal representation to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the regulatory body for banks and other financial institutions in Nigeria.
